Decades of Experience

Triad Power has flourished in the commercial and industrial electrical markets across Saskatchewan for more than 65 years.

Originally formed as Smith and Dibb Electric Ltd. by Peter Dibb and Joe Smith in 1953, the small company primarily served commercial and residential markets in and around Saskatoon. Quickly recognized for their expert knowledge and superior customer service, the company began to shift their market offerings to meet increased demand for specific services. 1983 the company was renamed as Triad Power .

Looking to foster strategic growth and expand Triad’s service area, Doug’s youngest brother, Tad, joined as a shareholder in 1987. In 1992, Neal Prentice – a senior superintendent at the time – was made partner and moved into the office as an estimator and project manager. In 2002, Garnet Connolly also joined as an estimator and project manager. When Doug Dibb retired in 2004, Triad was restructured allowing Garnet and Neal to become major shareholders. In 2010, Jason Jankoski joined the team in an estimating and project management role. Today, Garnet and Jason work together as the ownership group, working to foster Triad’s continued success for many years to come.
